The "G. Scola" Ice Rink in Canazei, home of the Fassa Falcons and Futurestars, has hosted all sporting activity and ice hockey championships since its construction in 1981. In 1987 and 1994 it hosted the Hockey World Championships and in 2013 was the venue for ice hockey matches and the closing ceremony of the XXVI Winter Universiade. A point of interest during summer and winter tourist seasons with significant numbers of guests and skaters, it's sought after by Italian and European clubs for hockey and figure skating camps and training stages. Open eleven months a year with exclusive events and much-appreciated figure skating shows scheduled throughout.
